Jake Paul
Conclusion
What are the greater implications of this information? This website seems to imply the idea that the internet is a hopeless pit of money-hungry stars and manipulative consumerism. Paul's marketing, mook character, and over sexualization are just some of the reasons Paul presents as a horrible role model for young children. New age media allows anyone to have a platform, and maybe Youtube and sites like it allow the wrong people, like Jake Paul, to have a platform. But the fact that anyone can make and grow a platform is what makes new media exciting and innovative. Because social media allows for anyone to have a voice, there are people completely opposite of Paul doing real good in the world: spreading awareness for disabilities, educating others, or raising money for charities. The internet allows for grass-roots fame, allowing anyone with a passion to begin sharing their voice; and while there are bad seeds like Jake Paul, there are also good hearted people sharing because they hope to inspire others.
Below are some good hearted youtube channels. Take a look :)

I interview individuals with a diagnosis from across the world with the hope of spreading empathy and acceptance. SBSK (Special Books by Special Kids) started when I was a special education teacher. My students and I originally set out to publish a book in which they shared what life is like from their perspective. We hoped that this would help educate others on what it is like to live with a disability. No publishers were interested so we then started creating videos. Soon, people around the

world started emailing me asking if I could interview them. Although the medium has changed, the idea remains the same.
SBSK is now officially a 501c3 nonprofit. 100 percent of the ad revenue generated from this channel goes to the nonprofit so we can continue to make these videos. We also use these funds to provide grants for those in need.
